Tokyo These Days

Tokyo These Days by Taiyo Matsumoto (Viz Media) is a quiet drama about the manga world. Shiozawa, a veteran manga editor, walks away from his job at a big publisher after decades in the business. Without quite meaning to, he starts reconnecting with the artists he once worked with, many of whom have struggled. It is thoughtful, melancholy, and beautifully drawn, a great fit for readers curious about how manga is made.
