Kindergarten Wars

Kindergarten Wars by You Chiba (Yen Press) is a fast, funny action comedy. Black Lily is a kindergarten for the children of the rich and powerful, which makes it a favorite target for kidnappers and hitmen, so its teachers are all former assassins, hired to keep the kids safe at any cost. Rita is one of the best of them, and when she isn't fighting off attackers, she's hoping to find a boyfriend. It's a good pick for readers who enjoy over-the-top fights mixed with workplace comedy.
