Dewdrop (Hemimycena tortuosa)

2. Dewdrop is the brilliant director of the Fungi Forest Science Center. Usually found with her nose buried in a book, she actually prefers the great indoors, as nature tends to exacerbate her allergies (hence the tears in her eyes). Dewdrop might be shy at first, but she adores discussing space facts with her friends. Just as long as they don’t bring her any flowers... Ah-choo!!!

Pinky (Pleurotus djamor)

2. Rosy’s bestie. Pinky is the ultimate ride-or-die girl’s girl - part confetti cannon, part life coach. She’s often ten steps ahead when it comes to birthdays, brunch plans, or helping out when things go sideways. Thoughtful to a somewhat scary degree, she’s always ready to hype up her friends or bail them out of jail at a moment’s notice (she has the alibi prepped and ready to go!) She’s just thrilled to be included.

Gilly (Cantharellus cibarius)

2. Gilly is the executive chef at Chez Champignon, the best restaurant in the village. The undisputed champ of culinary outbursts, she lives for two things: perfecting her signature dishes and yelling about underseasoned hors d'oeuvres. But don’t let that glare fool you - beneath the fiery exterior is a passionate artiste with a soft spot for her friends. But stay out of her kitchen!

Dot (Cortinarius iodes)

2. Gassy’s cousin, Cap’s sworn nemesis, and the undisputed villain of the village. With a passion for high fashion, pop anthems, and setting house fires, Dot struts through life with fabulous outfits and unapologetic evil energy. Is he stylish? Absolutely. Is he nice? Absolutely not. That said, one has to respect his commitment to the bit.

Waxy (Gliophorus psittacinus)

2. Poor Waxy. The resident raincloud of the group, Waxy is clumsy, mopey, and always convinced that something’s gonna go wrong (it always does). Her pastimes are sighing dramatically, staring wistfully out windows, and giving the world’s worst hugs. Most of the villagers give her a wide berth, but behind that dreary exterior is a thoughtful soul with a lot to offer... assuming she ever makes eye contact.

4. Traits: Clumsy, gloomy, pessimistic

Oozie (Hydnellum peckii)

1. She/Her
2. Secret figure! Oozie is the eerie oddball of the village, widely known for her favorite hobbies - lurking, creeping, and scheming. She’s happiest when skulking in shadowy corners and whispering secrets to her pet beetle (named Bram). But she’s more misunderstood than menacing. Sure, she might pop up behind people suddenly without a sound, but that’s just her way of saying hi!
