Fetid spawn of Mormo swarm and multiply in foul breeding sites, protected by sinister cults whose members are visited in dreams by creatures from beyond the stars. The immortal warrior-chieftain Herjan has gathered his forces to dominate the native Germanic tribes, his efforts fuelled by either enlightenment or madness born from Atlantean relics. As darkness looms and shadows gather, he schemes and plots to send his substantial military might against Rome.
