Wartortle, the one with the fluffy ears and the tail that's basically a cloud. TOMY's Monster Collection Master Ball is a working toy, not a prop: it opens up, a lever inside arms the spring catch, and the ball snaps shut when it lands on your Pokémon. The return string brings it right back to your hand, so every throw ends with the ball where you want it.

The 2" Wartortle figure fits inside the ball, which is the whole point. Catch him, pop the ball open, let him out, catch him again. If Squirtle Squad was your crew, this is the grown-up version of that energy.

What's in the box

  • Working Master Ball (2" x 2", purple and white with the signature "M")
  • Wartortle figure, Monster Collection scale (2")
  • TOMY retail box, #MB-5 in the Master Ball series

Good to know

  • Plastic. Built to be thrown, not just displayed.
  • Ball and figure both work with the rest of the TOMY Monster Collection line.
  • Six sets in the series: all three Kanto starters and their first evolutions.

Complete the set: Master Ball + Charmander (#MB-1), Master Ball + Bulbasaur (#MB-3), Master Ball + Charmeleon (#MB-4), Master Ball + Ivysaur (#MB-6). Browse all Pokémon Monster Collection figures.
